About our foundation

WHY WE HELP

TGSF is a charitable organisation that believes that the youth are the future hence mission is geared to the advancement and development of the life of our children and youth?

These are mainly through crisis intervention, advocacy, motivational interactions and leisure time activities in order to develop their mental, physical and spiritual capacities so they can grow to their full potential as responsible individual and members of society.

OUR HISTORY

The Good Samaritan Foundation (TGSF) was established by Counsellor Funmi Ademilua in 2010 as a (NPO) in response to the inequalities, lack of provisions and support to Internally Displaced People (IDP) in Nigeria including children

In 2015, Cllr Funmi registered The Good Samaritan Foundation with the charities commission in the UK - Registered Charity Number 1161031.This was in response to the escalating bullying and violence between young men, particularly from the Black and minority Ethnic (BME) which was further highlighted by the London riots in 2011, in which Deptford was particularly hit by the violence and looting.
